How to read a memecoin rug check
What mint authority, freeze authority, holder concentration and liquidity actually tell you. Evidence from the scan, not a promise.
A rug is not a vibe. It is a control that lets someone mint more supply, freeze wallets, or pull the pool. The scan names the check and the source. If the source did not answer, the status stays unknown.
Mint authority still set means new tokens can be created. Freeze authority still set means an account can stop transfers. Either one is a hard problem on Solana even when the chart is green.
Top-10 holder share is a concentration reading, not a unique-holder count. A high share can be a pool, a bridge, or a single wallet. The scan does not guess which.
Liquidity under the ready bar means a small order moves the price. That is tradability, not a moral judgement. Compare the pool to the market-cap figure before you treat the market cap as real.
