Dogecoin and Binance-Peg DOGE
After this page you should be able to decide which DOGE a number belongs to before you use the number.
The difference that matters
Dogecoin is a network. Binance-Peg Dogecoin is a BNB Chain contract that uses the ticker. This file lists both. Market cap on the native row is not depth. Depth on the peg is not the Dogecoin network’s order book.
A verdict on the peg is about that contract’s scan. The native row has no verdict because the checks are built for contracts. Unscanned, here, is the wrong word for a coin that was never a contract.
| coin:dogecoin | BNB Chain peg | |
|---|---|---|
| What it is | Native coin | A contract using the ticker |
| Address on the row | None | An 0x address |
| DEX liquidity in this file | Blank | A pool on BNB Chain |
| What a verdict would mean | Not applicable to a missing contract | A scan of the peg only |
| Age of the thing people mean | Network, 2013 | The peg’s pool is not 2013 |
What this does not establish
- Reserve backing of the peg is not audited here.
- Centralised DOGE books are not in the file.
