Glossary

These are the meanings used on this site. A vendor’s own glossary can differ. Where it does, the research pages say which print they are reading. Supply is the longer lesson.

Market cap
Price times the circulating supply figure the vendor used. Not liquidity, and not a measure of how easily a position can be sold.
Fully diluted value
Price times a total or maximum supply. When it matches market cap, the vendor used one supply figure for both. That is not proof of a hard cap.
Liquidity
Reported DEX pool depth on the row. A blank means the file attached no pool. It does not mean the number is zero, and it does not include a centralised order book.
Volume
The reported 24 hour figure. The file does not say how much of it is wash trading.
Top 10
Share of supply in the ten largest addresses at the measurement time. Not ten people. A pool or a custodian can be on the list.
CLEAR
A stored safety scan returned that verdict. The scan can still contain warnings. It is not a recommendation.
FAIL
A stored scan’s hard check failed. The row stays visible. Failure is not the same word as unscanned.
Unscanned
No safety scan is stored for that row. Absence is not a pass.
Ready
A board filter: not a stored FAIL, pool at least $50 (or a large listed coin with no pool figure), and top 10 at or under 93% when measured. Ready is not clear, and not a buy.
DESK_PASS
A verdict string from the upstream file. It is not this site’s Solana desk, and it is not a buy signal.
Ticker
The symbol. Not an identifier. DOGE, PEPE and BONK are all reused.
Observation time
When the public file was generated. Distinct from the date the prose was reviewed.
Mint authority
On Solana, the right to create more units. ‘None’ means the scan read that field as revoked at scan time.
Freeze authority
On Solana, the right to stop an account moving the token. Distinct from metadata update authority.
Honeypot
A contract path where a buy can succeed and a sell cannot. A simulation is evidence about the path that was tried.
