How a market-cap figure is read

Market cap is price times a circulating supply the vendor chose. Missing values stay missing. Pegs are not removed from the sum.

Inputs

The input is the market-cap field on the ranking row, which CoinGecko-style sources compute as price times circulating supply. This site does not recompute supply. Fully diluted value is a second field. When the two match, the vendor used one quantity. That match is reported as a match, not as a discovery that issuance has ended.

Missing data

A null market cap is left out of totals. It is not stored as zero. A null liquidity field is not stored as zero either. The briefing says how many rows had a pool figure so the blank stays visible.

Known weakness

Summing every row double-counts attention when a peg and a native coin both appear. The Dogecoin comparison exists because of that weakness. The sum is still shown, with the limitation written next to it.
