Pepe’s CLEAR scan still warns: blacklist, pausable
After reading this, you should be able to hold two scan lines at once without collapsing them into ‘safe’ or ‘scam’.
Published 2026-10-12. Substantive review 2026-10-12. Figures are the observation time.
The two lines
On the stored scan, ownership renounced is a pass and the recorded owner value is the zero address. ‘Not mintable’ is a pass. ‘No hidden owner’ is a pass. The controls line is a warning, and its value reads ‘blacklist, pausable’. Those strings are what the scanner wrote. They are reproduced in the panel. They are not a paraphrase.
A warning under a CLEAR verdict means the scanner did not treat that line as a hard failure. It does not mean the functions are decorative, and it does not mean they can be called. A renounced owner makes a privileged function harder to use if the only caller was the owner. Functions can remain in verified source after the owner is zero. Whether these particular functions are still reachable is the open question.
What concentration is not
Top-10 share is a percentage of supply sitting in ten addresses, at a stated time. The market row and the scan have both printed a figure for this token, and the figures are not required to match: they can be different methods or different moments. Neither figure names a person. A pool, a bridge or a custodian can occupy the list. This page does not promote an address into a beneficial owner.
What this page does not establish
- The desk has not read the verified source line by line to see if the warned functions are callable at the zero owner.
- No comment was sought from a deployer. No deployer is identified here.
REVIEW WHEN
- Controls status flips between warn, pass and fail.
- Owner leaves the zero address.
- Top-10 share moves across the scan’s 80% line.
