Pepe tokenomics: what the supply fields actually say

After reading this, you should be able to read market cap, fully diluted value and the scan’s tax line as three different statements.

Published 2026-10-12. Substantive review 2026-10-12. Figures are the observation time.

One supply figure

Where market cap and fully diluted value print as the same number, the vendor is not showing a large locked or unissued remainder inside those two fields. It is not a statement that supply can never change. The scan’s ‘not mintable’ check is the separate observation about whether this contract exposed a mint. A pass there is about the code the scanner tested, at the scan time, not a promise about a proxy or a later deployment.

The tax check reported buy and sell tax at 0% on the simulated route, and the round trip cost was about the pool fee rather than a token tax. A zero tax is not a zero cost to trade. The liquidity note keeps that cost.

What is not a valuation

Nothing in the evidence pack ties demand to a working product that requires PEPE. The cultural article is about attention. Attention can be real and still not be a cash flow. This page will not convert either one into a price target.
