Binance-Peg Dogecoin is not Dogecoin

After reading this, you should be able to see which permissions and which pool belong to the peg, and which questions the peg cannot answer about Dogecoin.

Two rows

The collision list on this page is generated from the ranking file. Any row whose symbol is DOGE and whose id is not coin:dogecoin is a different instrument. The largest of those, in recent prints, is Binance-Peg Dogecoin, a BEP-20 contract. It has an address, a DEX liquidity figure, a holder count and a top-10 share. The native row has none of those fields.

A verdict on the peg is a verdict on that contract’s scan. It does not transfer to the Dogecoin network, and a missing verdict on the native coin does not mean the peg failed. The words CLEAR, DESK_PASS and unscanned are not interchangeable across these rows.

What ‘control’ means here

On a contract, control is permissions: mint, pause, ownership, a blacklist. On Dogecoin, control is the network’s client and the distribution of coins among addresses this file does not show. Publishing the peg’s top-10 percentage next to the word Dogecoin, without the address, attributes a BNB Chain concentration figure to the wrong asset.

The pair timestamp on the peg is when that pool appears in the source. It is not 2013, and it is not the age of Dogecoin.
